Now in its 20th year, HPCX is New Jersey's premier cyclocross event and a UCI C2 race weekend. Located in scenic Thompson Park, HPCX is conveniently situated between NYC and Philadelphia in the charming towns of Jamesburg and Monroe.
HPCX began in 2000 in Highland Park, NJ, and moved to its current location in 2007. Co-promoted by Highland Park Hermes and the Rutgers University Cycling Team, it draws racers from across the country as well as from New Jersey's vigorous local scene.
HPCX is part of the USA Cycling Pro CX series and the Mid-Atlantic Cyclocross series.
Cooper River Cross is a race not to be missed! There are lots of technical sections and conditions may vary depending the weather. There are a full range of categories including, beginners, masters and professional riders for both men & women. The multi-lap races are timed from, 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the category. The course is completely viewable from the west end of Park Boulevard which is great for spectating. Local vendors, including food trucks will be present. A children’s race will also take place so bring the whole family. A USA-Cycling license is required to participate. This is a rain or shine event.
Guy's Racing Club presents Race #1 in the Mid Atlantic Cyclocross Series: Whirlybird 'Cross. This longtime staple of the MAC Series will be held at Bryn Athyn College, Bryn Athyn, PA; September 8th 2019. It features a course that combines fields, woods and hills.
